HIGH POINT, NC, January 8th – Bethany Medical (BMC) is happy to welcome Board Certified Gastroenterologist Dr. Shabana Shahid to its community of medical providers. Dr. Shahid will offer a full-range of Gastroenterology and hepatology services as well as procedures, including GERD, Colon cancer Screening, Abdominal Pain, Crohn’s Disease, Persistent Heartburn, Hemorrhoids, Irritable Bowel, Rectal Bleeding, Ulcerative Colitis, Hepatitis, and Liver Disease/Cirrhosis. 

Dr. Shahid earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in St. George’s, Grenda. She went on to complete her residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA followed by a fellowship also at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. 

Dr. Shahid has been practicing medicine for more than 14 years and is board-certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
