“I chose medicine because I like to help others. I chose family medicine in particular because I enjoy the continuity of care that comes with the specialty. I treat patients of all ages and life stages, acting as an advocate for my patients. I present treatment options and, after going over the risks and benefits of each, work with the patient to decide on the best course of action.”

Fun Facts:

1. Why did you go into healthcare / become a provider?
   Answer: I was not the child who always wanted to be a doctor. In fact, I initially was enrolled in a biochemistry graduate program but decided I needed more interaction with people. I’ve always felt it was my calling to help people so I quit that program and applied to medical school instead.
2. Tell us one hobby you love to do outside of work.
   Answer: I enjoy traveling (especially abroad), reading, listening to music.
3. What’s a fun career fact about you?
   Answer: This isn’t a career fact but I am classically trained pianist. I still enjoy playing when I have time.
