Now Offering Primary Care, Urgent Care and Specialty Care Services
Bethany Medical and its team of 65 multi-specialty providers are excited to announce the opening of its newest location at 2805 S. Main Street, High Point, in Peters Plaza III on February 22. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. with a lunch reception to follow.
The Bethany Medical Patrick J. Watterson Clinic is open seven days a week providing primary care, urgent care, pain management, women’s health, weight loss and specialty care services to the South High Point / Archdale community. The clinic is named in honor of Patrick Watterson, PA-C, Vice President of Bethany Medical, who has been with Bethany Medical for 26 years.
The South Main Street location will be led by Oscar F. Florendo, Jr., M.D., Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Like all Bethany Medical clinics, the new center will offer a vast array of on-site medical services including x-ray and diagnostic services. The new center will also be equipped to provide rapid COVID antigen tests and 24–48-hour COVID PCR tests as needed.
Bethany Medical President Elise Peters Carey shared the regions’ largest independent health care provider’s enthusiasm for entering a new market and the ability to provide Easy Access and Best Experience to a new portion of the Triad community.
“We are excited to be expanding into the Archdale/Trinity community. It is a reminder of our mission to provide easy access and the best experience to every member of our community. In short, the name Bethany means a “Place of Welcome” and it is our great hope that this center will always serve as a reflection of these core values,” she said.
