Dr. Lenny Peters Sponsors Open Door Ministries’ Masquerade Gala 2026

HIGH POINT, NC – For the third year in a row, Dr. Lenny Peters and Bethany Medical have had the pleasure of sponsoring Open Door Ministries’ annual Masquerade Gala and Auction. The Gala and Auction took place September 18, 2026, at the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame.
“I’m so proud and so blessed to help this organization,” said Dr. Lenny Peters, founder and chairman of Bethany Medical.
Open Door Ministries serves roughly 18% of the High Point community, providing food, financial and 30-day shelter services. 85% of shelter residents who go through the 30-day shelter leave with a job and/or a place to live.
The event brought out community members and organizations as dedicated as Bethany Medical and Dr. Peters in the commitment to helping others. Ryan Ross noted Dr. Peter’s dedication to helping ODM, especially when they need a helping hand.
“We could not do what we do without every one of you,” said ODM Executive Director Ryan Ross. “In some form or fashion, everyone in the room has contributed through large donations, small donations, or volunteer time.”
Bethany Medical’s sponsorship and earlier donation of $100,000 will help ODM continue providing its 24/7 year-round services to the greater Piedmont Triad area. Dr. Peters was moved to donate an additional $50,000 before the night was concluded.
Dr. Peters also said, “I am called to care for my fellow human beings. Caring for others is the very cornerstone of a healthy society.”
Dr. Peters is committed to investing in community organizations such as ODM and the services they provide. Supporting them is how we make a difference beyond our medical services.
