Hispanic League’s “Fiesta! Festival 2026
October 2, 2026
HIGH POINT, NC – Bethany Medical attended the Hispanic League’s annual “Fiesta! Festival,” bringing along a provider to perform health checks onsite. The event brought out live music and dance, authentic food, family activities, local businesses, and community resources.
Thousands of community members and their families attended the outdoor event, visiting vendors, food trucks and resource tents such as Bethany Medical. Attendees learned about our Spanish-speaking clinics and other specialties.
“It was a great way to be able to connect with the community and still be able to help them take care of their health,” said the attending provider located at the University Parkway clinic. She was performing free checks for cholesterol, insulin and blood pressure under the Bethany Medical tent to those interested.
Bethany Medical has a commitment to supporting the community and their health. Providing onsite checks like those provided at the event is just one of the ways to do that.
“If providing the community with direct access to us is how we can help even a little, then our efforts are worth it,” said Elise Peters-Carey, CEO and president of Bethany Medical.
Bethany Medical has provided the greater Triad community with compassionate and accessible medical care for almost 40 years. Now they are expanding services into the Hispanic community.
Connecting with the Winston-Salem community through events such as Hispanic League’s “Fiesta! Festival” creates opportunities for our team to collect feedback about what the community currently needs.
